It was not a mile long but definitely huge. They could however, determine that the object was dark in color, and had no lights. I pointed it out to a classmate and thought it didnt look right. Alien Nation Summary

The science fiction TV show, Alien Nation, started airing in September 18, 1989 in FOX. The series is based on the movie with the same name that is launched in October 7, 1988. But the series ran for one season only because of insufficient funds that forced the show to stop airing in May 7, 1990.

Alien Nation revolves around the story of a flying saucer crash-landed in the Mojave Desert. The flying saucer bears alien slaves that are super intelligent and strong. The aliens, also known as Newcomers or Tenctonese, has been included into the population of Los Angeles. George Francisco, one of the aliens, is a police detective along with his human partner, Matthew Sykes, as a replacement for the lost partner of Sykes. Both of them were assigned in cases related to Tenctonese criminals and victims. Later, Sykes learned to accept his partner. Francisco and Sykes must stop the ambitious Tenctonese businessman who sell drugs that are used to fight when the Newcomers are enslaved.

Alien Nation stars Gary Graham as Matthew Sykes, Eric Pierpoint as George Francisco, Michele Scarabelli as Susan Francisco, Lauren Woodland as Emily Francisco, Sean Six as Buck Francisco, Terri Treas as Cathy Frankel, Jeff Marcus as Albert Einstein and many more. The series was created by Kenneth Johnson. The full series of Alien Nation was released on DVD January 3, 2006 by 20th Century Fox. The television shows have yet to be released on DVD. Although staged as science fiction, the story-lines generally revolved around thinly disguised morality plays on the evils of racism, and bigotry against ethnic minorities, women, and gay people.
